Otherwise, investors are attracted to the outskirts of Salzburg city, such as the Nonntal and Leopoldskron. But also Aigen in Ennstal and the lakeside properties in the Salzkammergut are among the most popular plasters. Buyers like to settle there in villas with lots of land or in traditional country houses. As is usual in the high-end segment, the price situation can be very different. Real estate broker Nicola Layenberger comments: "For existing real estate in Salzburg, one can expect a minimum price of 7,500 euros per square meter." Bernd Gabel-Hlawa adds: "Luxury is subjectively subjectively. For some, the condominium for 500,000 euros is true luxury, for others it only begins to become luxurious at the old town villa from 4 million euros upwards. "

Solution for second home settlement desired

It is to be expected that the Salzburg real estate market will continue to develop well - because the attractiveness of the federal state speaks for itself. "There will hopefully be a quick and reasonable solution for the second home rule," explains the luxury real estate expert.
